Durston Construction Ltd was commissioned to undertake a luxury new build in the idyllic village of Baltonsborough.
The exterior of the building is built in locally sourced blue lias stone with all window ledges and arches made of sandstone, finished off with grey slate roof tiles. The front porch is handmade out of oak with matching grey slate roof tiles. The master bedroom has its own handmade balcony which matches seamlessly with the rest of the building.
This 6-bedroom modern eco house, uses renewable energy to both power and heat the property.
On the ground floor it comprises a large kitchen with island and open plan dining room space, a utility room, a well-lit lounge area which has 6 floor to ceiling arched windows, as well as a state-of-the-art cinema room. There are 4 bedrooms on the first floor all with ensuite bathrooms and built-in storage. There is also a master bathroom which has a free-standing bath and a separate shower. Upstairs on the second floor there are two extra bedrooms which also have ensuites and storage, with Velux windows allowing plenty of light in.
In the gardens of the coach house, we have built an oak framed hexagonal pagoda that has a cedar shingle roof and is clad in cedar on the inside of the roof.
